Addis Huyler: 4th Annual Bahamian Icon Awards

The  4th Annual Bahamian Icon Awards was broadcast live July 2, 2016. As busy as he was that night, we managed to snag a couple minutes to speak to the man whose vision put the wheels in motion for this fabulous event: Addis Huyler. Watch the video below to hear his thoughts on the growth of the event over the years, future plans, and a little bit of fashion.

Addis’ passion and love for his country really shines through when he comments: “It’s amazing how people are just connected to what we are doing. I think it’s important because we all want to be validated for who we are, and know that what we’re doing with our life makes a difference; so that’s what this is: This is an opportunity to say you’re doing a good job, congratulations,  and what you’re doing with your life inspires me to want to be better in my life!”

Addis Huyler is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of SIDDA Communications Group, Ltd. He manages projects, consults with clients regarding creative vision and approach, and coaches team members to successfully plan and execute creative development. Addis initially formed SIDDA 4 years ago as a sole employee. He has since built a large and talented team of designers, writers, project coordinators, and production staff.
